Work – I’m Loving It

I have been building a 20′ wide curved window seat/bookcase this past week and I could not be happier. It took a little time to figure some of it out, but the finished product is going to be more than worth it. I have had so much fun building it that I am actually looking forward to Monday morning so I can finish it and take pictures. I have been so pre-occupied with the building of it that I have forgotten to take pictures. I apologize but hopefully Monday night you will be able to see the unpainted but finished product. Also going on at “the house” we have started to put up the handrails around the decks. The top handrail is 2 1/2″ rigid copper pipe and below the top rail, running horizontally every 4 inches, down to 4″ above the deck floor is a 1/4″ stainless steel cable connected to eyehooks with turnbuckles. It will look really cool when it’s all done.
We have also started a new job remodeling a building downtown. It is a huge project but it is going to be a lot of fun. Another ultimate remodel. I have some pictures of it here.

Update: I have uploaded more photos to the Nelson House. Here is the first picture of the curved window seat.
